Once you get hooked on photography, one of the first things you start digging into is the equipment. Now, I was fortunate enough to have a father who also shared my passion of photography and we share many cameras and lenses together. One particular camera that caught my interest was the Leica M 240 with his Summilux 35mm.
I didn't quite understand the allure at the beginning, but once you get past shooting in manual rangefinder mode the photos really are quite magical to say the least.
The Leica glass and their sensors are renowned for having that magical effect on photographers as it renders images soft yet sharp, it also has a more buttery soft bokeh and some how gives the illusion of a 3D image.
Here are some photos I took on a trip to Sonoma back in 2015 August, you can be the judge to see if you think the Leicas are worth the money.
