Tokyo sakura continued

April 5th is particularly special day for me as I was married on this fateful day last year in 2016 in Hawaii. On the anniversary of this momentous occasion, me and my lovely wife decided to start the day by taking a stroll along the Meguro river because 20 times a week is not enough.

The Sakura was pretty much at full bloom with the exception of a few trees that lacked sunshine. After lunch, we explored a suburb called Kagurazaka. An older upscale residential neighborhood in central Tokyo. We then wandered into the infamous Yasukuni Shrine where "war heroes/criminals" are worshiped. I'm not going to comment on what I think about this as this is my photography blog, if you are interested in hearing my thoughts just send me a message :) The shrine and the gardens are immaculate, highly recommend going first thing in the morning to avoid the crowds and/or go on a week day.

Enough jibber jabber, here are the photos from April 5th.
